September Spring Garden Fling at Mt Pleasant

The Spring Garden Fling will be held every Saturday in September with the addition of the much loved Mt Pleasant Farmers Market.

Held at the Mt Pleasant showground, the Fling will showcase plant producers, garden accessories and sculptures from all over South Australia.

The resulting mix is a fantastic eclectic collection of plants, garden décor, tools, fertilizers for the garden lover to discover.

Enjoy a fun festival feel with different workshops every Saturday, entertainment, variety of food & drinks with the bonus of the farmers market.

The “Fling” will trade to 2pm on every Saturday in September.

Entry Fee –  $4.00 Concession $2.00 – Tickets at Gate

*Market Members FREE entry between 8am – 9am

Guest Speakers – Demonstrations

4th September- 10AM & 12 NOON

Hans Griesser a Sampson Flat bushfire survivor will talk about his experience and will show a pictorial of the amazing bushfire recovery of his property.

11th September – 10am & 12 Noon

Trevor from Cut above Tools, an expert in the field of pruning and gardening tools, will be giving a demonstration of the correct way to prune & how to get the best out of your garden tools

18 September – Local artist Joe Dennis will be offering tips & technique painting advice whilst painting vase of fruit in pastels

25 September – Floral Designer – Flowers By Terese – Tips & demo on how to make a floral table centrepiece

To comply with COVID-19 regulations, stalls will be spread out over a larger area.  This will allow stallholders and customers to social distance appropriately.
